Martha graduated with a 2.1 honours in Law in 2012 from the University of Ulster. She subsequently emigrated to the United States and secured a position working in the prestigious New York City Law firm, McMahon Martine and Gallagher LLP.
Martha gained invaluable legal experience working closely with US attorneys providing wide-ranging litigation support in Insurance Defence matters including; construction site accident litigation, premises liability matters, insurance coverage litigation and toxic torts.
Martha worked directly with insurers on high profile claims including asbestosis claims brought following the collapse of the World Trade Centres in 2001.
Martha joined Lacey Solicitors in April 2017 as a Legal Executive working primarily on private client matters and providing niche advice on premises liability matters.
Martha secured her place at the IPLS and is currently a Trainee Solicitor within the office.
Martha is an avid camogie player and also has a passion for travelling and interior design.
