Colleen studied Law and Politics at Queens University Belfast. She graduated in 2017 with LL.B (Hons) degree with a 2:1 and has joined Lacey Solicitors as a trainee solicitor while she undertakes her professional qualifications at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
Colleen’s workload primarily consists on private client matters, road traffic accidents and general litigation. She assist the Partners in the firm in acting for both Plaintiff and Defendant client’s representing individuals, corporate bodies and insurance companies. Her main focuses are on debt recovery, personal injury and credit hire.
Outside of work, Colleen is undertaking Irish language lessons. In January 2017, she completed her beginner course and has now moved on to intermediate level and is currently studying to obtain her Fáinne Óir.
Colleen has her own blog and reports on high profile legal cases in Ireland with a focus on insurance and personal injury litigation. Some examples can be found on our website.
Colleen volunteers weekly assisting children and adults with learning difficulties to part take in sporting activities to include swimming and bowling.
